I’ve been to a ton of events to show off new products. Hundreds. Thousands perhaps. I’ve never been to one like Samsung’s Paint The Town, which was used to showcase the capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G.
Held at Wisma Atria’s CHAMBER, the event was PACKED with people Samsung invited!
The event had some major players in attendance from Samsung too, and they took the time to pose for pretty pictures!
It’s…pretty out there.
I mean, the whole premise of the event is to have attendees (you guys can try it out too if you head on over to CHAMBER) colour on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G phones (using the included S Pen) that are connected to a huge display wall.
The colouring you do on the phones show up on the big ass wall and you can then marvel (or be ashamed) at your skills.
Having owned multiple Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones in the past, the S Pen wasn’t any to me but this is the FIRST time that it’ll be included with any Samsung Galaxy S series phone.
That aside, it has never occurred to me that the S Pen could be used as a colouring device. I mainly used it to take down notes and stuff.
It definitely took some getting used to but after a few minutes of intense concentration, I could colour like a damn pro!
…Ok so I lied.
I could barely colour within the lines.
Shameful, I know.
I guess the Samsung lady rep thought the same thing too because she gave me pointers (lots of them) on what I could do to maximize the capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G to be a better artist.
Will I be the next Picasso or Rembrandt?
Doubtful…but hey, at least I tried, right?
Awesomely, Samsung gave us a cool souvenir!
Now I can colour in the privacy of my home!
