Do Your Part To Help a Tuas Explosion Victim’s Family.

By now, everyone must have heard about the tragic Tuas explosion that occurred last week, claiming three lives in total.

It’s saddening to know that these people came to Singapore to work in a low paying job to support their family, only to lose the chance of seeing that family ever again. It’s a horrifying reminder that life is fleeting and that anything can happen at any time.

And while there’s nothing we can do to change the past, we can look to the future help change the fates of the victims’ families.

Do what you can.

ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR), an initiative created to help migrant workers, has recently started a new campaign to assist the families of the workers who passed away in the tragedy. Unfortunately, according to MustShareNews, IRR has only managed to contact Mr Marimuthu’s family so far.

This campaign will help to raise money for his family and help them cope with the future of raising his two young daughters, one of them he has yet to even see in person.

And I’m honestly glad to see that everyone is flocking to do their part in helping the family. The campaign has already reached beyond $S200K, and I believe the number will still keep moving up as long as people feel the need to help.

It’s nice to see that humanity within people still prevails to this day, even when everyone is struggling with their very own problems. And if you feel like playing a part in helping the family affected by the Tuas explosion, then you can do so here.
