Godzilla vs Kong is pretty much the next big blockbuster we’re all looking forward to. Despite the title, everybody with a brain knows how it’s going to go down though…Godzilla and Kong will ultimately team up to fight against an even greater threat.
There’s no way either Godzilla or Kong will kill each other according to Superman vs Batman. Also, somebody called Martha may or may not be involved.
Anyways, the point is they’ll both be around at the end…which is why these kids’ books are so neat if your little ones are fond of the giant lizard or gorilla.
The first one Godzilla vs Kong: Sometimes Friends Fight (But They Always Make Up) is aimed at the younger crowd.
According to the press release, the pop-up kids book aims to show young kids how to be meet new kids and how to be good friends with them. Awwwwwww…how adorable.
I’m an adult but I still love the cutesy art for the monsters, for Godzilla especially! If he was a plushie, I’d snack him up in a second!
Godzilla Vs Kong: Sometimes Friends Fight (But They Always Make Up) will be releasing April 6 2021 and can be preordered through Amazon US.
As for the other book, it’s a tad different…though still for kids.
This one just features Kong as he romps around Skull Island (that’s his origin) with his new friend Jia. It’s a bit more traditional and for kids a bit more mature than the audience of the first book.
It’s called Kong And Me.
I’m not sold on the art on this one. Then again, I’m not the target audience so that might be why. If you think your kid (or you) will enjoy this one, Kong And Me is already up for pre-order on Amazon US, for an eventual release on March 30.
