It all began when Legendary Pictures released Godzilla back in 2014 and kickstarted the MonsterVerse. And now after three movies, we are finally so close to seeing the two Kings battle it out to become the victor!
Godzilla Vs Kong is probably the most anticipated movie on the list this year for most of us, and things are about to get so much better. The official release date has now moved up by two months from May to March 26!
Here’s the official synopsis:
“In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”
Much like all the other Warner Bro’s movies this year, Godzilla Vs Kong will also go through simultaneous releases in theatres and HBO Max. Then again, who’s going to miss the chance to watch these Kings bring the pain on a larger screen?
…I’ll be not-so-secretly rooting for the giant gorilla all the way. A giant monkey smashing the living daylights out of the world’s most overrated mutant? Yes please! KONG SMASH!
