WhatsApp’s Endgame.

Yesterday I wrote an article piece on how TraceTogether is affecting privacy and inherently leading to control. Today everyone in the world is facing such a situation thanks to WhatsApp’s new privacy policy changes.

If you haven’t been paying attention, Facebook bought out WhatsApp back in 2014 and then offered everyone a chance to keep their WhatsApp data out away from Facebook in 2016. Unfortunately, we don’t have that luxury anymore.

We have been given an ultimatum. Either share your WhatsApp account data with Facebook by accepting it’s new policy changes by February 8 2021, or have you won’t be able to use the application.

This situation feels like it was taken straight out of the Avengers movies, where Mark Zuckerberg is now the one saying that he is inevitable.
