Things were going so well for us with Covid-19, the holidays arriving and the end of year closing in. But nothing lasts forever, and now we may be facing another problem.
The new B117 strain of Covid-19 first appeared in Britain and has since made it’s way to Singapore. On December 23, The Ministry of Health (MOH) informed that a 17-year-old Singaporean girl who had studied in the UK was now confirmed to carry the new strain.
Apart from that, eleven more cases are preliminarily positive for the B117 strain and are awaiting confirmation. Hopefully, there will be no more new cases, or we might be heading for trouble if it’s not contained.
