With a new strain on the rise in Britain, other countries have already jumped the gun by banning travel altogether. Singapore was still undecided on the matter but has now taken a stance on the situation.
Effective from December 23 11.59 pm, all travellers with a travel history to the UK within the last 14 days before leaving for Singapore, will have to serve a 14-day Stay-Home Notice at dedicated facilities.
As for long-term pass holders and short-term visitors who have a travel history to the UK within the last 14 days, will not be allowed any form of entry to Singapore.
On the other hand, Singaporeans and permanent residents that are returning will also have to serve a 14-day Stay-Home Notice and undergo PCR test.
Just when things were finally starting to look up.
