With the pandemic on our heels, obtaining the vaccines is now a top priority for all countries, and it seems Singapore is handling it well.
On December 21, the first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines was delivered to Singapore by Singapore Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter, SQ7979. It has since been transported to SATS Coolport for storage as the vaccines have to be stored at -70°C for long term use.
Apart from that, Singapore is now the first country in Asia to receive the Covid-19 vaccines, and more will arrive in the following months. We should be seeing the vaccines in use in the coming week or so.
