Netflix has become the go-to subscription for the entertainment this year for a lot of us, and it has no plans of stopping any time soon.
Netflix has tapped Cheo Hodari Coker, the creator of Luke Cage, to write its latest feature film that will be an adaption of the novel, Forty Acres by Dwayne Alexander Smith.
Forty Acres will be a thriller, that follows a civils right attorney who fights for his survival in an elite Black organization that carries a dark secret.
The project has other big names attached to it as well, like Jay-Z, Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment and James Lassiter being the producers for the film.
