Death may be natural, but that doesn’t mean it’s not scary. And that fear takes a whole new meaning when you’re losing your life while no one is there. Unfortunately, that’s the case for a lot of senior citizens living by themselves.
On November 23, police uncovered the remains of an elderly woman and her dog in her condo at The Shore Residences near Katong Shopping Centre.
The unfortunate news is that the remains were only found after over a year of her passing, and it was confirmed that she had no family or visitors.
Police are currently investigating the situation but have confirmed that preliminary examination shows no signs of foul play.
