As the pandemic rages on, it seems the entire world is taking a harder look at how important mental health is. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I can vouch for the fact that mental illness is not taken seriously out in the working world. You can read more about it here.
Thankfully, one network carrier in the US is moving ahead of the curve by addressing this issue directly. T-Mobile is adding a feature of allowing the number 988 to directly connect it’s customers to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL).
This add-on officially makes T-Mobile the first network carrier to include such a feature that may set the stage for others to follow suit.
