Well after months of waiting, HBO has finally greenlit The Last of Us TV show by giving them a series order!
The Last of Us series will be adapting the first game for its storyline that follows Joel’s and Ellie’s journey through a ravaged civilisation, caused by a virus 20 years ago.
I’d strongly suggest playing the game beforehand to enjoy everything that it has to offer because the writer and creative director for the game, Neil Druckmann, will also be involved in HBO series to ensure that the series does not derail with its story.
As of now, there have been no details on the cast for the show yet. But here’s to hoping that whoever plays the role of Joel, does it right.
