The fourth quarter of the year is looking great for Ubisoft, as they launch their games out into the world. As of this month, Ubisoft already released two AAA games, Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, that have been received quite well by gamers all around.
And thanks to Ubisoft, we even got our hands on the games for a comprehensive review, and I must admit that I enjoyed playing it myself. You check out our reviews for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla here and Watch Dogs: Legion here.
However, that’s not all. There is still another game called Immortals Fenyx Rising from Ubisoft, that’s on its way before the year comes to an end.
Jake and Finn in Immortals Fenyx Rising.
If you’re not too familiar with what Immortals Fenyx Rising is or even heard of it, I honestly don’t blame you. The game is greatly overshadowed by the big titles of the year, despite Ubisoft’s efforts of promoting it.
Thus bringing us to Ubisoft’s latest attempt of promoting the game through a cartoon series called Adventure Time, which is interestingly enjoyable and sums up what Immortals Fenyx Rising is.
The one minute video brings Finn and Jake, the protagonists of Adventure Time, to a distant land where they stumble upon the mythological creature, Cerberus, and fail at subduing it.
It’s here that Fenyx, the hero of the game, makes an entrance, saves the two and chides at their feeble mortal attitude in a humorous way. Despite being such a short introduction, the clip does give us a better insight of Fenyx‘s character as a person who is not in the mood for jokes and is all business.
And apparently, this wasn’t a one-off entertainment clip either. Ubisoft promises that more Adventure Time crossovers will make an appearance in the coming weeks!
Immortals Fenyx Rising is an open-world 3D action-adventure game, that lets players take control of Fenyx, a winged demigod, who is tasked to save the Greek Gods from a dark curse. The game will release on December 3, next month, on all platforms.
