Being a grab delivery personnel under normal circumstances is already a tough situation. Now with the pandemic underway, the stakes are raised even higher with customers being on the edge.
Some times, luck is just not on our side.
It certainly wasn’t for one deliveryman, when the food he was supposed to deliver fell out of a ripped paper bag, in front of the customer. The customer had waited for the food for about 45 minutes, so this could have turned out to be very ugly immediately.
Instead, the customer calmly accepted his apology and didn’t blame him for the situation. She even went beyond that by offering the deliveryman a five-dollar tip for his service despite not receiving her food.
