Murder is a gruesome and unforgivable act, and committing that act against your own family takes it to another level of atrocity.
On November 10, at 12.40 pm, an 11-year-old girl was pronounced dead after she was brought to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, unconscious, by an ambulance earlier that day at around 11 am.
At 1.20 pm, the authorities were alerted regarding the unnatural death of the young girl. After subsequent investigations, the girl’s biological mother and her stepfather were both arrested under suspicion of murder.
If the couple is convicted for murder, they could be facing the death penalty.
