Singaporeans may have to wait until 2024 to travel to Taiwan.

With the pandemic being unpredictable around the world, taking precautions has become a norm. One thing for sure is that it’s not going away anytime soon and countries have to brace for themselves for that reality.

Taiwan Tourism Bureau has already begun planning for that eventuality by stating that their borders will not be opened to tourists until the 4th quarter of 2021.

The officials have mentioned that a preliminary list of countries such as Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and New Zealand might be allowed access from the year of 2022 to 2023; while the rest of them might have to wait until 2024, for tourism to return to normal.
