PS5 Asia Celebration Showcase is next week!

After months of anticipation, we finally received news of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) release date, back in September, that it was set to November 12. Unfortunately, that specific date wasn’t directed for a global release but selected countries only.

As for us, locally, the actual release date is November 19, a week after. Thus, it’s probably best to avoid the internet for spoilers for games like Spider: Miles Morales, until the consoles arrive.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore Private Limited (SIES), who is fully aware of our predicament and anticipation, has decided to give us something else to look forward to and quell our appetite, in the meantime.

Stand a chance to win prizes at the PS5 showcase!

Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and get ready to be late for work the following day after; because SIES is going to be conducting a live PlayStation 5 Asia Celebration Showcase on November 11 at 11 pm and it’s going to be a blast!

The showcase will consist of an exclusive unboxing session of the PS5 by JJ Lin, who is one of the most prominent people in the Asia scene. I hope they conduct some size comparisons during the reveal because from what I’ve seen, the console is enormous.

There will also be a gameplay segment accompanied by both Lifestyle Personality Victoria Cheng and Mediacorp 987 DJ Joakim Gomez. They’ll be sharing their gaming experiences in greater detail, with regards to the new console. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some unreleased footage of upcoming games like Dark Souls.

During the PS5 showcase, attendees of the event will have the opportunity to participate in engagement and activities, that could lead them to win some incredible prizes such as the upcoming PlayStation 5 console, Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, and many more!

So be sure not to miss out the PS5 celebratory showcase next Wednesday that will be hosted on the official site here. You can also find more details about the activities and prizes on the page too.

The event will also be streaming on official PlayStation Asia channels such as YouTubeand Facebook.
