Power fault causes 3 MRT Lines to breakdown.

If things weren’t bad enough, here we go again with yet another train breakdown by SMRT. I’ve lost count of the number of times this has happened now.

October 14, yesterday at around 7 pm, a power trip between Tuas Link and Tuas West Road stations transpired that ultimately escalated and disrupted over 30 train stations. Thousands of commuters after a long day at work were affected during this time as they were trying to get back home.

Only after more than three hours, the train operations resumed without a hitch. In response to the breakdown, Minister for Transport Ong Ye Kung took to Facebook to explain and apologise for the situation.

I wonder when the next breakdown will occur? Hopefully, not when I’m out.
