Earlier in the month, Singapore Airlines were in the process of executing various initiatives to generate customers with innovative ideas. And honestly, I was a bit sceptical with the idea that people would go out of their way to pay for an expensive course of meals on an aeroplane that’s bound for nowhere.
As it turns out, people are really into the idea of dining at Singapore Airlines’ Restaurant A380 @ Changi, despite the financial crisis on our hands and a pandemic to boot! Go figure.
As soon as the booking opened up on October 12, almost all of the seats got sold out within 30 minutes. Can you believe that the demand was so high that even a waitlist got made?
