A 23-year-old man was allegedly slashed in Boon Lay NTUC on 7 October, yesterday. The victim has suffered injuries to both his face and head, with trails of blood covering on the ground he was seated. Staffers of the store immediately assisted the individual and sent him off to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
The Police department was immediately informed of the situation have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection to the incident. The assailant was seen in a scuffle with the victim in the store beforehand. Soon after attacking, he fled the scene with a knife in his hand.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
